OFA10
27-28 May 2014
Room 5.2 Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon
Alameda da Universidade, 1600-214 Lisboa, Portugal

The OFA (Oficina de Filosofia Analítica) is a graduate conference in analytic philosophy (broadly construed) that has been co-organized by the Portuguese Philosophy Society (SPF) and the Portuguese Society for Analytic Philosophy (SPFA) since 2006 and by the LanCog research group and the Centre of Philosophy  of the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon, since 2012.

OFA’s main goal is to provide a stimulating environment for graduate students and recent post-docs to present and discuss their research. OFA accepts submissions from Portuguese researchers, researchers based in Portugal, and from international researchers. OFA aims to reinforce the academic links between the Portuguese and the international community of researchers in philosophy, contributing to their training and raising their standing in the overall international scene.

Prof. Ned Block (New York University) will be the keynote speaker of OFA10.

Participants are invited to attend the Petrus Hispanus Lectures 2014, which will be delivered by Prof. Susan Carey (Harvard University) on 27-29 May 2014.
