Gonçalo Reis De Carvalho

Gonçalo Reis de Carvalho is a Master’s student at the Department of Philosophy, University of Lisbon. He previously earned his B.A. in Natural Sciences and M.Sci in History and Philosophy of Science, both at the University of Cambridge, UK. There he developed a dissertation on Heidegger’s phenomenology of judgment in relation to Quine’s semantic holism. Currently, he works on the concept of finitude in Kant and Heidegger. He also runs a fortnightly reading group seminar on Martin Heidegger’s Being and Time. His interests are German Philosophy, Phenomenology, Ontology, and History of Philosophy.
