QUESTIONS REGARDING TRAVEL/PARTICIPATION IN SCIENTIFIC EVENTS

  • What kind of support does CFUL give its members?

CFUL may cover travel, accommodation, registration fees and, in some cases, per diem. The specific support depends on the CFUL’s budget and will be decided case by case by the group coordinator. Then, it must be approved by CFUL’s director.

 

  • Can I book my own flights/accomodation and be reimbursed?

No! FLUL does not allow reimbursements. All travel/accommodation must be purchased by the travel agency through the office manager. This applies both to CFUL researchers and our guests.

 

  • Are scientific associations’ membership fees covered?

Yes. Memberships to scientific associations and registration fees to conferences can be coverd by CFUL. If deadlines are too close, FLUL allows, in exceptional cases, the payment by reimbursement (up to 250€). It must always be pre-approved, so get in touch with the office before paying.
