If you have not registered yet, you can do so\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1pe9-CUZwKFA_uS0j-wD7bRQatIO-SdzxBqKlmkM6XOY\/edit?usp=drive_web\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can address any question to Andrea Oldofredi (<a href=\"mailto:aoldofredi@letras.ulisboa.pt\">aoldofredi@letras.ulisboa.pt<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>ABSTRACT:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I present an intuitive and robust mathematical representation of fundamental particle\u00a0physics based on a novel approach to quantum field theory, which is guided by four carefully\u00a0motivated metaphysical postulates. More concretely, I explore a dissipative approach to quantum\u00a0field theory [1] and propose a possible explanation of the Planck scale in quantum gravity. Offering\u00a0a radically new perspective on this topic, my presentation focuses on the conceptual foundations of\u00a0quantum field theory and ontological questions [2].
